    Sonnit Looper

The Sonnit Looper is a multitrack audio looper made to replicate the functions of a hardware looper. Loop on 4 tracks with overdubs limited only by the computer capabilities. Each of the 4 tracks can have up to 4 inputs and 4 outputs individually assigned. Record/Overdub play and stop tracks individually or together using either the on screen buttons or any MIDI device. Individual gain controls for input and output levels are also available on each track. Additionally the software includes 99 presets which save audio and a variety of settings. Two loop modes allow the tracks to either be synced together or free, meaning that each of the 4 tracks can be used with independent lengths for verse, chorus, bridge etc. Additional functions like loading in audio, undo, multiply, play all and stop all are also included. MIDI configuration also allows different MIDI values to be assigned to each button which is controllable via a MIDI device.

GLSL editor on VST / AU plug-in

    ## What is this? It is an editor that describes a shader language called GLSL (OpenGL Shading Language) and a VST / AU plugin that displays a window to execute OpenGL drawing. Using the plug-in form, we have implemented the following distinctive functions. Supports audio input from DAW (VST host) Supports MIDI CC input from DAW (VST host) Full screen display with multi display is also possible By using these functions, you can control the shader in conjunction with DAW’s voice and MIDI automation. It may be used for VJ applications. The shader that can be edited with this plug-in is “fragment shader” only.

Blue3 - A vintage tonewheel organ with a modern interface

Blue3 is an incredibly detailed simulation of the classic tonewheel organs that we all know and love. Those B-3's, C-3's and A100's are remarkably complex pieces of machinery with thousands of electrical and moving parts, which only partially explains their very rich warmth and tone. We've painstakingly simulated every single feature and circuit and more importantly, every single source of imperfection to give Blue3 its wonderful richness and complexity.

Smaart - multi-channel audio analysis software

Smaart is a multi-channel audio analysis software for Windows and OS X. First developed in the mid 90s, Smaart is now the industry standard for live sound audio measurement. Signals are acquired via any off-the-shelf audio recording interface and piped into Smaart through WDM/ASIO and CoreAudio drivers. A variety of single- and dual-channel measurements are supported including RTA, Spectrograph, SPL, Transfer Function (Magnitude, Phase, Live IR), and a full suite of room acoustic tools. JUCE has been an integral part of our development environment since 2008, enabling us to focus on new audio analysis features instead of the idiosyncrasies of cross-platform GUI development.

    StereoSavage

It's a stereo processor that creates and manipulates stereo. It sounds super lush and has a number of awards from the music press. It's got a couple of nerdy development things that are interesting as well: - The knobs and buttons are rendered entirely with the Graphics class methods without any bitmaps or SVG files. - I wrote some debugging tools to help with the development. There are here: https://github.com/jcredland/juce-toys They include tools for debugging problems with Components, and peeking inside ValueTree's and audio buffers while the plugin is running.

    Reformer from Krotos

Reformer makes it possible to design sound effects with your voice or any live audio input. Unleashed from the mouse and keyboard, Reformer allows sound artists to sculpt effects in real-time and has been hailed as a revolutionary way to work with sound. Paula Fairfield, Game of Thrones’ Sound Designer, used Reformer to create the sound of the Ice Dragon in the Season 7 finale, and said, “Reformer is insanely awesome.” Paul Lipson, VP of Creative Services at Formosa Interactive said, “Reformer could just as easily be called ‘Revelation’ for me - something that really stands out and is not another mundane tool or passing fad.” Krotos used JUCE to build the UI and the preset system uses the ValueTree. The handling of multiple platforms and plugin formats has been a time saver and control over skew in components make tweaking of parameter response an easy task. Krotos also used JUCE to build a standalone application to accompany a new version of Reformer arriving in late 2017.
